Breakfast with Bishop Michael Nazir-Ali on “Islam Elephant in the Room”

Title: Breakfast with Bishop Michael Nazir-Ali on “Islam Elephant in the Room”
Location: National Press Club, 16 National Circuit, Barton ACT 2600

Description: A wake up call for Australia:
BISHOP MICHAEL NAZIR-ALI, born in Pakistan, knows what it is like to live under sharia law. His Muslim father became a Christian, but today would face death for “apostasy”. Michael professed faith in Jesus Christ as a teenager. He later became a minister, then a bishop working among the very poor – but assaults and death threats eventually forced him to flee with his family to the UK, where his deep faith and special abilities were soon recognised. For several years he played a key role in the House of Lords. He has stepped down as head of the Rochester Diocese in Kent in order to minister to the wider church – including persecuted minorities in Africa, Asia and the Middle East.

Bishop Michael Nazir-Ali often faces hostile media interviews, but has won great respect for his fearless defence of Christian truths. Unlike many other church leaders, he is not afraid to “tell it like it is” on issues of the day – including the rise of radical Islam.

  3. Vic Barrington says:

We are currently visiting in London and can see the incresing Islamisation of what was once an outstanding country and is now giving in to this minority in the name of being “fair” to a minority.
I can believe it when people say England will be a Muslim country in around 25 years.

If there is a print out of his address I would love to have it. You should have our details on file.

    The Islamisation of Australia.

There is a thought-provoking article on ‘Islamic Finance is Islamic Law for Australia’ in the Australian Islamist Monitor. http://islammonitor.org

  5. colleen turnbull says:

Will there be the opportunity for others in Australia to hear him speak or will this be the only opportunity ?

  6. Tony Smith says:

‘Many readers will be aware of the brave ex-Muslim Bishop Michael Nazir-Ali who held the position of Anglican Bishop of Rochester in the UK for almost 15 years.

He was outspoken against the dangers of Islam and received many death threats directed not only at himself but also his family by the brave UK Muslims.

His honesty and bravery in speaking to the need to convert Britain’s Muslims, Britain’s no-go Muslim zones and how radical Islam is filling the “moral vacuum” left by the “decline of Christianity” have resulted in numerous death threats (he has been warned he would not “live long”).

Bishop Michael Nazir-Ali has a number of Australian speaking engagements from 14th September to 22nd September, starting in Brisbane, then moving onto Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Adelaide and Perth’.
